Cookie Policy
Effective Date: 4th July 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Property Powwow Platform uses cookies and similar technologies on our website.
What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and provide information to the website owner. We may also use pixels and local storage.
Types of Cookies We Use
1. Strictly Necessary Cookies
Essential for the operation of our website. Without these cookies, services you have requested cannot be provided.
- Session Cookies: Used to maintain your session on the website.
- Security Cookies: Help ensure data security and protect against fraud.
2. Performance/Analytics Cookies
These cookies collect information about how visitors use our website, helping us improve performance.
- Google Analytics: Collects data on website usage to analyze traffic and user behavior. [Duration: Up to 2 years]
3. Functionality Cookies
These cookies allow our website to remember choices you make and provide enhanced features.
- User Preferences: Saves your preferences such as language settings. [Duration: Persistent]
4. Targeting/Advertising Cookies
These cookies are used to deliver advertisements relevant to you. They also limit the number of times you see an ad and help measure campaign effectiveness.
OpenAI provides the advertising-measurement technology used on this website, named OpenAI Measurement Pixel.
Allows the OpenAI Measurement Pixel to measure whether advertising leads to actions on Property Powwow, such as completing Property IQ.
OpenAI Measurement Pixel measures only if the visitor consents to Targeting/Advertising cookies.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
__oppref | A first-party cookie used by OpenAI Measurement Pixel. Stores the oppref attribution identifier from the landing-page URL. | 30 days after the Pixel writes it. |
__obref | A first-party cookie used by OpenAI Measurement Pixel. Stores a randomly generated browser reference for this website. | 365 days after creation. |
These are first-party cookies used only when measurement consent (Targeting/Advertising cookies) is granted. Calling oaiq("consent", false), which this website does when you refuse or withdraw Targeting/Advertising consent, removes both cookies.
Awin — Affiliate Attribution
Awin is an affiliate network Property Powwow uses to attribute new paid memberships referred by affiliate publishers. Also allows Awin, our affiliate network, to attribute a new paid Property Powwow membership to the affiliate partner who referred it.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
pp_awc | Property Powwow first-party cookie storing the Awin click reference. | 30 days |
_aw_m_[advertiser ID] | Awin click attribution (source: privacy.awin.com). | 1 year |
_aw_j_[advertiser ID] | Awin journey attribution (source: privacy.awin.com). | 3 months |
These cookies are set only after you grant Targeting/Advertising consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer. The 30-day pp_awc storage period is separate from — and shorter than — the affiliate programme's own attribution window. Full details of every cookie Awin uses are published at https://privacy.awin.com/ (Awin's own privacy cookie list).
Third-Party Cookies
We use third-party services that may set cookies on your device:
- Google Analytics: For website analytics. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.
How to Manage Cookies
You can review, change or withdraw your consent at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer. Browser settings are also available as an additional option: most browsers let you block or delete cookies, though disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.
To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, visit: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
